So, I was thrilled to hear about the birth of Layla Caroline and doubly so when Ivey visited her folks and wanted to come for some pictures.

Wowee, twin boys! Joseph and Benjamin Cunningham were born August 9, 2010 to our friends Casey and Greg. We are so excited for everyone! He’s here! We hurried to Louisville as soon as we could and there he was! Mom, Lizzie, and Dad, JPSr., are doing terrifically. Lizzie’s Mom and Dad, Judy and Steve, beat us there and they came from Connecticut!

Adam, Heather, & Baby Carson!

Carson was born exactly one month before these pictures were taken. His proud daddy, Dr. Adam Dooley is the pastor of my church (Red Bank Baptist) and his beautiful momma is Heather. It was an honor to get to take some of Carson’s first pictures. Carson is precious, and he makes the funniest faces. That combined with Dr. Dooley’s sense of humor made me laugh harder than I have in a long time.

This first picture is just to show some of the funny faces Carson can make. Surely he won’t make this face at Dr. Dooley when he gets older:)

Another expression I love:
