Can you say, “Four Boys!” That’s a quarterback, tailback, fullback and wide receiver! However, a couple of these guys might be destined for defense judging by the way they tackle each other.

Shonnie and Raymond recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. I was thrilled to photograph them first at the Old Courthouse in Chattanooga and then at the Walnut Street Bridge. I got to thinking that this is an outstanding way to celebrate marriage. Every 10 years have a photo session! Anyway, we had a great time meeting them and we wish for them many more years of happiness.

Michelle and Brad are very special to me. I have known them for a long time. We worshiped and served together at Red Bank Baptist. Michelle was Diana’s favorite high school teacher. I photographed their family when the girls were little. I love them.

So, when Brad learned of another deployment, they all made arrangements to come and see me. This was such a blessing. I am so proud of Brad and so thankful for his service. I pray God’s speed and good blessing on him and his family during this deployment and always.

Happiness, joy, blessed and love are just a few of the things I experienced when I met Halle Claire for the first time.

I was happy to see her parents, Amanda and Josh, whose wedding we photographed in 2007. I was blessed to see the joy on their faces as they introduced Miss Halle to me. And, there was quite a lot of love as I photographed this precious 6 month old, beautiful baby girl.

Heidi and Dustin traveled all the way from San Francisco to have me, their wedding photographer, take the first official professional photographer pictures of their bouncing, baby boy, Tyler. I am totally flattered!

Okay, they really came East to visit their parents in Tennessee and wanted to revisit Chattanooga because of happy memories of school, engagement and wedding. I just happened to be here but I am SO thrilled they thought of me and brought their eight week old son, Tyler.

He’s an alert and active little guy and I know deeply loved by his grandparents, Elaine and Tom, and Jo and Doug and Aunt Elizabeth. Congratulations Everyone and thanks for coming our way!

The congregation at Ridgedale Baptist know what a treasure they have in Dr. William Owens and his family.

We were privileged to photograph them recently which allowed us to renew our friendship. Dr. Bill’s daughter-in-law, Audrey Pittman Owens, has been a family friend for years. (In fact we photographed her wedding and her two sisters’ weddings!) Anyway, this was a very special session for us and we were so privileged to be there.

Amy and Brian, Gilner Family Baby Shower at Lynne’s

My sister Lynne is one of the most generous, giving, and caring persons I know. I can’t even begin to tell you how much she has blessed me, encouraged me, and supported me. Her loving and giving attitude extends beyond our family and, as her friends will attest, blesses countless others.

On a recent Sunday afternoon, we once again witnessed her gracious hospitality when she hosted a baby shower for Mother’s friend, Celia, and her son’s family. We were on hand to help wherever we could, which included some photos. I thought it would be fun to post on the blog so I hope you all will enjoy.
