Laura & Steven just recently got married at the Fairyland Club on Lookout Mountain Georgia, and everything about it was absolutely beautiful. They ceremony was staged surrounded by huge boulders and trees, and the reception of course was overlooking the gorgeous Chattanooga valley. And on top of all that, the weather was perfect and Laura & Steven are super easy to be around and photograph! It just couldn’t have been any better.

This picture of the groomsmen gives you a little glimpse of the classic cars they drove for the wedding day. The bride and groom drove the white Bentley shown below. Sweet!

The grounds of Wilmette’s Westmoreland Country Club were beautiful.

I loved this picture because I’ve never seen guys really get so competitive to catch the garter. Too funny.

Here is Jenny, our beautiful bride, in the Christ United Methodist lobby.

No one wants a torrential downpour on their wedding day, but a beautiful rainbow makes up for it. This is on the balcony of the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club.

Jenny & Shane know how to throw a party. The band (The Male Men) was phenomenal and a good time was had by all (including Jenny’s grandmother shown below!):

The reception at your parents home was just enchanting. We really loved everything about the day and were excited about the settings because it led to some beautiful picture opportunities. I just wanted to post a few pics from a beautiful bridal session that Jessica and I photographed together at Lookout Presbyterian Church. We did this the week of Ivey’s wedding and since it was at the same location as the wedding, I thought I would post these because they flow so well with the following post of the actual wedding!

Congratulations Karen & Mike! Though the weather wasn’t quite what we were hoping for, the day was certainly not a disappointment. Everything went so perfectly and it really turned out to be a beautiful, enjoyable wedding. The Grandview once again provided an outstanding location. You guys are so easy to work with. Keith and I had a great time.

One of the things I love most about my husband Keith is that he is so affectionate with me and is always making clear to me just how much he loves me. I say that because my first encounter with Dr. Talbert proved that he was that way to Michelle, and I just loved it! Tim was standing on the other side of the door where Michelle was putting on the final touches of her bridal attire, and he just went on and on about how much he loved her and couldn’t wait to marry her. But the love he was professing was just so clear when they were together. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her and was telling everyone he saw that she was the most beautiful bride he’d ever seen! Needless to say, they are an endearing couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed capturing their big day.

Betsy & Warren, November 10, 2007

Betsy and Warren got married on the 10th of November at my home church, Red Bank Baptist. Getting to be a part of this wedding was such an honor. We have known and loved Betsy and her family for many years. Betsy was actually one of my roommates my freshman year of college, so she knows what a mess I can be, and yet she still wanted me to photograph her wedding! Everything about the wedding was such a delight, and it all went so perfectly.
