Weddings at the Gordon Lee Mansion in Chickamauga, GA are indeed special events. Somehow Terry and I had some communication glitches and this wedding, waiting to be featured on our blog, only recently made it to the things-to-do list. Sorry about that.

Tracie and Matt were especially wanting us to photograph more of the artistic, fun pictures and, when you see the slideshow, you will see what I mean. We all had fun and it was an artist’s pallet for color and beauty.

The delightful Delilah and her brother and sister are seen in this slideshow. I am absolutely loving this family and so thankful for their time spent with me. Lilah is a real cutie and a very happy baby. I believe having a family that loves her so much makes all the difference.

What a wonderful wedding! Jessica and Chuck were married on 11/11/11 a date and a day they will not forget!

A longtime Disney enthusiast, Jessica asked for and got a Wonderful World of Disney Wedding imported to Rock Spring, Georgia. Sound Force worked their magic in the kingdom and transformed the Rock Spring UMC fellowship hall into a fun-filled mystical, magical place. Impressions Catering had some magic of their own serving up an outstanding breakfast buffet which included Mickey Mouse shaped sausage, pancakes and waffles. Can you say, “Yummy?”

Life is full of wonderful surprises and adventures. The surprise for me was to have the granddaughters of a dear friend come for photographs! The adventure was to capture the delightful personalities of the twins! What a joy this was and I am so thankful I got to met Brooke and Sydney and their parents. I am blessed!

Can you say, “Four Boys!” That’s a quarterback, tailback, fullback and wide receiver! However, a couple of these guys might be destined for defense judging by the way they tackle each other.

Shonnie and Raymond recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. I was thrilled to photograph them first at the Old Courthouse in Chattanooga and then at the Walnut Street Bridge. I got to thinking that this is an outstanding way to celebrate marriage. Every 10 years have a photo session! Anyway, we had a great time meeting them and we wish for them many more years of happiness.

We all are amazed at the fact that Samuel is already 5 years old. Where did that time go? He is an amazing boy and loves for me to take his picture and I love doing so. Hope you all enjoy this glimpse at Samuel at 5 years old!

Kathleen and Ryan are awesome. They are both very gracious and easy to talk to which made us feel welcome. Besides, I think you’ll sense from looking at the slideshow and some of our favorite pictures that they both like to have fun. We definitely enjoyed the experience of being with them, laughing and just getting to know them. I really loved doing their engagement pictures.

Nicole DeBarge & Tom DiPiro, Wedding at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul and Reception at The Vineyard, by Liz Power Photography

Smiles, laughter, tears of joy, warm fuzzies, exceptional gratefulness – just a few of the emotions experienced when Nicole and Tom said, “I do!”

A beautiful couple, beautiful families, beautiful church, beautiful vineyard, and, oh, yeah, it was a gorgeous day! Plenty of sunshine, lots of pictures and a whole lot of family and friends made for a very, very special day.

Nicole and Tom are two of the friendliest people ever. Their families are delightful and the bridal party were just plain fun.

Thanks to the hard work of wedding event coordinator, Veronica Seaman of Veo Weddings and Events, the day went very smoothly (not counting the buses’ bumps and bruises). Nicole’s uncle brought The Grapevine Band all the way from Macon, Georgia and they rocked on. Impressions Catering did an amazing job of catering and serving the guests and the food was outstanding. A special thanks to The Sheraton Read House, where the bridal party and families met for pictures.
