Liz & Terry

Thank you for entering our world.  Your interest in our lives means so much to us.We are here to serve you, not because taking pictures is what we have to do, but because it's what we love to do. We feel so blessed, and we want to pour out blessings on others.  Let me tell you a little about Terry and me.

We have been in love for 29 years. We met on a blind date, and by the fourth date Terry asked me to be his wife. We were married three months later and not a day goes by that we don't thank God for each other.

We are parents of four wonderful children. Diana, Jessica, John, and Becca are everything to us. They are not only our kids, but our dearest friends. Becca and her husband Keith are our associates and we love working with them.

We are grandparents: "Honey" and "Poppy" to be exact. We currently have six grandbabies with another one on the way. We thought being parents was pretty special, but now we know the unparalleled joy of being grandparents. Those little ones have filled every space in our hearts.

We are photographers and we have the best job on earth. It is our story that helps us capture another's story through our lens.  It is our love that helps us capture another's love through our lens.

Welcome to our blog.

~Liz

The Gordon-Lee Mansion in Chickamauga, GA is one of the premier wedding locations in our area. They do a fantastic job of serving the bride and groom and when it started to rain, plan B went into effect. How do you move over 200 guests to an alternate location at the last minute? Anyway, it...

McKinley, July 20, 2006

Four-year-old McKinley and her mom, Hannah, met us downtown at the old courthouse to do some special pictures commemorating McKinley’s birthday. Next door to the courthouse is a beautifully maintained garden, available to Unum Provident employees. We thought McKinley would enjoy that setting and she did. Then we went back to the Hamilton County Courthouse...

CPPG Photo Safari, July 24, 2006

Liz and Diana Simpson, our oldest daughter, took advantage of the local photography guild’s photo safari. David Smith is one our guild’s most talented photographers and it was great to learn from him about shooting in all kinds of lighting conditions. While shooting, at really low light, i. e. almost dark, we captured these three...
